The TAS5404-Q1 device is a four-channel class-D audio amplifier designed for use in automotive head units. The TAS5404-Q1 device provides four channels at 20 W continuously into 4 Ω at less than 1% THD+N from a 14.4-Vdc supply when used with the application circuit. The input is configured as an analog single-ended interface. The patented PWM topology of the device provides dramatic improvements in efficiency and audio performance over traditional linear amplifier solutions. The improvement in efficiency and audio performance reduces the power dissipated by the amplifier by a factor of ten under typical music playback conditions. The device incorporates all the required functions required by the OEM application. The built-in load diagnostic functions for detecting and diagnosing disconnected speakers help reduce test time during the manufacturing process.

This user’s guide describes the operation of the TAS5404Q1EVM. The TAS5404Q1EVM utilizes thePurePath Console 3 graphical user interface with the TAS5404Q1EVM plugin.
The hardware consists of two pcbs that are soldered together through a dual row connector. The mainboard incorporates a TAS1020B for the USB interface through a micro USB connector. A 3.3-Vdc linearregulator provides 3.3 Vdc for the system. The TAS1020B converts the USB protocol to the appropriateI2C address and data. The audio signals are provided through the 3.5-mm female jacks. There are twojumpers, J3 and J4 to short the two 3.5-mm jacks so only one stereo pair is needed to provide signal to allfour channels of the TAS5404-Q1. Connect the provided USB cable to J9 and the PC. The USB does not provide audio for this EVM.

高效小型100W汽车放大器参考设计PMP9484
PMP9484 is a 100W highly efficient and compact automotive amplifier reference design which can be used in 50W +50W stereo or 100W woofer applications. The design is broadly divided into three main stages:
1.) Highly efficient single-phase synchronous boost converter using the LM5122 controller IC. The design accepts an input voltage of 7.5Vin to 20Vin (12Vin nominal) and provides an output of 24V capable of supplying 5A of continuous current to the load. The peak efficiency acheived is 98 percent.
2.) 50W+ 50W stereo audio amplifier with TPA3116D2 Class D device
3.) Very low cost stereo input to woofer bass input conversion
